Billboards Warn of Dangers of Geoengineering
“Stop Spraying Us.” “You’re Being Sprayed Like a Bug.” “Skies Poisoned by Your Government.”
Across the United States, billboards are springing up warning of the dangers of something happening in the sky…of something happening to the sky. And to us.
GeoEngineering Watch is an advocacy and research organization founded by Dane Wigington, a former Bechtel Power Corporation employee and a researcher of geoengineering. The organization’s focus is on documenting the presence of geoengineering operations and its dangers. The goal is to educate the public to stop climate engineering before our health and environment are irreversibly damaged. The billboards, funded by contributors to the organization, are dramatic educational tools that Wigington hopes will aid in the battle against “the greatest assault of all against our biosphere.”
Oxford dictionaries define geoengineering as the “deliberate large-scale manipulation of an environmental process that affects the earth’s climate, in an attempt to counteract the effects of global warming.” Sometimes known as climate engineering or climate modification, methods involving the aerial spraying of aerosolized particles containing aluminum, barium, and strontium, have garnered much attention with the production of very visible “chemtrails.” The aerosolized particles are claimed to cause adverse health effects, and the long-term effects of attempting to modify any aspect of climate are unknown and untested.
Wigington states that the “normalcy bias of our population is so profound that most have no idea what is going on in the skies above their heads day after day, already for decades.” He hopes that the billboards will end that state and inspire people to fight the process of massive geoengineering before it is too late.
What do you think the trails are? Standard contrails or chemtrails? Where do you stand on climate modification?
