Heads Up For Tainted Cukes! The Center for Disease Control and Prevention, numerous state agencies, and the Federal Food & Drug Administration are investigating a Salmonella Poona outbreak tied to cucumbers distributed by Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce. The alert and recall involves cucumbers purchased from August 1, 2015 through September 3, 2015. The vegetables were marketed under the “LIMITED EDITION” brand label.
